On Saturday I went to see A Matter Of Life And Death at the National, and it was honestly one of the best plays I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing: plot, characters, setting, set (the staging was beautiful and ingenious, full of bicycles and ladders) dance, and music (THERE WAS A UKULELE). Just. Yes.
